What’s in the free fastener kit?
The free fastener kit includes all the Click & Connect clips, plugs, screws, and end caps you need for your rails. It’s a built-in saving – worth $9.25 for a 2 m rail and $12.18 for a 3 m rail.
How do I install Click Rail?
Mark a level line 15 mm below the lowest point (because they are rarely perfectly straight) of your cornice or square set ceiling using a laser level, chalk line, or the rail itself, or use a Click & Connect clip as exact reference point. Look for studs – they provide the sturdiest fixings. Fix Click & Connect clips at 3 clips per metre (so 6 clips for 2 m, 9 clips for 3 m). Drill Ø 6 mm, plug, screw, then click the rail over the clips and cap the ends. Check that each clip is locked securely -use mallet or fist. When joining two rails, use one clip to span the join: position the end of each rail over half the clip so it acts as both a fastener and a joiner. Use corner connectors for a tidy finish if you’d prefer to avoid bevel cuts at internal or external corners.
How strong is Click Rail?
Each metre supports 30 kg when installed with the supplied clips – ideal for most framed art, prints and mirrors.
Can I repaint the rail?
Yes , the white-primer version takes any interior acrylic. Lightly sand, wipe clean, then roll or spray two coats.
Does it sit neat under cornices?
Absolutely. At just 25 mm high it tucks under standard plaster cornices for a clean shadow line. Also perfect for square set ceilings.
Is Click Rail renter-friendly?
Yes. No damage, no blu-tack or nail holes ever – just what every landlord want from their tenants.
Click Rail vs Click Rail Pro?
Click Rail is slimmer and rated to 30 kg / m. Click Rail Pro is deeper, hides wire heads and carries 50 kg / m.
