Click & Connect Click Rail Pro

The Click & Connect clip fixes Click Rail Pro to your wall. Screw the clips into place, then click the rail onto them. Once the rail is fitted, the fixings sit out of sight behind it.

These clips are made for Click Rail Pro. Standard Click Rail uses a different Click & Connect clip.

How many clips will I need?

Use three clips per metre: six for a 2 m rail or nine for a 3 m rail. If you’re joining two rail lengths, place a clip behind the join to support both ends.

Flange up or flange down?

One useful feature of Click Rail Pro is that you can install it in either direction. Decide which look you prefer before marking the positions of your clips:

• Flange up: The wider flange faces the ceiling, allowing you to fit the rail close to the ceiling or cornice.
• Flange down: The wider flange faces the floor and helps conceal the tops of the hanging wires where they enter the rail. You see the wires dropping from beneath it, giving them the appearance of floating down from the ceiling.

The clips are positioned differently for the two options, so follow our installation images for the direction you choose.

How do I fit the clips and rail?

Mark a straight line for the clips using the rail and a light pencil line, or use a laser or chalk line. Fix each clip securely with screws and, where needed, plugs suited to your wall. If you can locate a timber stud or batten, fix into it where possible.

When the clips are firmly in place, press the Click Rail Pro onto them. You can use your fist or a rubber mallet to give the rail a firm tap until it clicks in. Then look up along the rail from close to the wall and check that it is seated tightly on every clip.
