Slider Economy 2 mm Perlon Hanging Wire

Cost-effective security for walls, system panels, doors and office dividers

This is a new product that will be available in December 2025.
The Slider Economy feeds in from the rail side and stays there – ideal for partition-wall hooks on 16-31 mm panels, doors and wall systems.

Key benefits

  • Side-feed insertion – slide the square head into the channel and move it freely; you can’t lift it out mid-rail, so artwork stays secure.
  • Partition-wall hero – pairs with white hooks 9.4503, 9.4504 or 9.4506 for 16, 21 or 31 mm system panels (15 kg capacity).
  • Invisible 2 mm perlon –  clear nylon virtually disappears against any wall covering.
  • Cheapest dropper – lower price point than Solid Slider or Twister cables.
  • 15 kg load rating – plenty for typical framed prints;, use 2 cables and 2 hooks for a stable, secure hang,
  • Tool-free height tweaks – use with Micro Grip 2 mm, Auto Grip or Micro Grip Lock hooks to level art in seconds.

Slider Economy prices & installer tips

Installer tips

  • Match the hook SKU to your panel thickness (16 mm, 21 mm or 31 mm).
  • Use two cables per artwork for perfect levelling and extra security.
  • Keep cables straight when sliding them in – perlon kinks easily if forced.

I chose the ceiling fixed Top rail in black with Perlon Twister hanging wires for an unobtrusive & floating effect & it is excellent! I found the recommended tiny fixing screws very difficult to use & opted for a larger size for use with the power drill & painted them black with a permanent marker pen. Hang Logic were very helpful & their service was excellent. Highly recommended! Added a larger, heavier frame & it easily took the extra weight.

Jacqueline offers the kind of attention that comes from someone who thinks past the hardware to how it will work for your situation, and to the artwork getting to be seen the way it deserves. For example, we ordered components for a hanging system, expecting nothing more than a delivery. But before anything shipped, Jacqueline called to check the details of our job — she’d picked up that we'd missed a piece, and without that call we'd have found out mid-install. A second time, I rang to ask what components we'd need for an especially weighty picture; Jacqueline offered her professional advice on details I hadn't even thought to ask about. I highly recommend Jacqueline, Hang Logic, and the Artiteq System.

Thrilled to finally have a rail system to hang artwork! Local business Hang Logic & installer Jono made it easy. They provided fast, professional service at a great price. It's easy to hang & rearrange work so I now have some of my dad's collection amongst mine in my tv-free art zone home 😊

Fantastic, easy purchasing process including professional consultation from Jacqueline, a range of product choices, and streamlined invoicing and payment. Installer Jono was on time, did a perfect job of installing 10 metres of rail and cleaned up the brick dust on completion. I had researched a range of products and providers but delighted with HangLogic. Will absolutely be back for more gallery rails when renovations are complete.

A brilliant conversation with Jacqueline @ Hang Logic regarding the merits of the different hangers and hooks for our proposed application. Plus a bonus recommendation for a local (Melbourne) installer. Rails, hangers and hooks ordered and delivered within a few days. Installation day, what a breeze! Our installer is an absolute professional, levels checked, wall studs located, clips mounted, rails trimmed, mounted and connected very quickly and smoothly. The outcome is a clean and smart looking install that blends in to the room like it was meant to be there. All instantly usable. Very happy overall and now enjoying some art again😊 😊
