How do I install Combi Rail Pro Light?
Mark a level line. Fix Click & Connect clips at 3 clips / m (6 for 2 m, 9 for 3 m). Drill Ø 6 mm, plug, screw, then click the rail onto the clips and tap on the live-end cap. Rails can be cut with a drop saw to custom length.
What components do I need?
Supplied by Hang Logic: rail, live end (power feed), connector set (straight + corner), and 50 cm or 70 cm light arms.
Purchased separately: a suitable transformer/power supply (specified by a licensed electrician) and compatible bulbs (we do not sell the bulbs).
Live End coverage
One live end is sufficient for up to 8 metres of continuous hanging rails.
How do I add another rail or turn a corner?
Slide a straight or 90-degree connector (included in the connector set) into the metal strip channel, tap flush, then clip the next rail. The insulation plate ensures power stays in the strip.
Should I choose 50 cm or 70 cm light arms?
50 cm = focused spread for small works. 70 cm = wider throw for big canvases or to wash a wall. Both arms twist at the lamp head for fine-angle control.
Electrical requirements
Electrical: Class III Low Voltage System (SELV). 12V. Maximum 300W / 25A. Maximum length of total track, 8 metres, maximum 5 pieces of track / 4 connecting elements per electrical connection. Maximum length of power cable (12V) 3 metres. Exclusively for use in dry indoor areas. Exclusively for use with ArtiTeq Combi Rail Pro Light components.
Bulbs: Fitting GX5.3. Bulbs to be used GX5.3 and GU5.3 12V max. 50W. Bulbs are purchased separately (we do not sell the bulbs).
Extra required: a suitable transformer/power supply specified by a licensed electrician. Always use power supply with fuse on secondary output. For optimum safety, the lightest possible fuse is recommended.
Fuse guidance (based on total bulb wattage)
- up to 50 WATTS – 5A
- from 50 to 100 WATTS – 10A
- from 100 to 150 WATTS – 15A
- from 150 to 200 WATTS – 20A
- from 200 to 250 WATTS – 25A
- from 250 to 300 WATTS – 30A
Combi Rail Pro Light vs Click Rail Pro
Combi adds a 12V lighting channel and movable light arm fittings; Click Rail Pro is for hanging only, but carries the same 50 kg / m rating.
