End Cap Click Rail
$0.66
What is the Click Rail end cap?
The end cap finishes the exposed end of a Click Rail. It covers the cut edge of the rail, giving it a clean, finished look. We have it in three colors: white ( for the Click Rail White primer and the Click Rail White), black (for the black Click Rail), and grey (for the brushed aluminium Click Rail).
When would I use one?
If you run Click Rail from one side of a wall to the other, the ends may sit against the adjoining walls and won’t need end caps. You can also mount the rail just below a cornice so it blends into the room. Our picture rail installation guide explains how the rail is fitted.
If you install rail along only part of a wall, its ends will be visible. That’s when end caps make a difference: fit one to each exposed end. The same applies if a rail stops near a corner rather than continuing around it.
If your rail continues around a corner, use a Click Rail corner connector to join the two lengths neatly.
How do I fit an end cap?
Push the end cap into the open end of the Click Rail. It’s a quick finishing step and doesn’t require any tools.
Will I need extra end caps?
The 2 m Click Rail fastener kit and 3 m Click Rail fastener kit each include two end caps. That’s enough to finish both ends of one rail length.
If you cut a rail into shorter sections, count the ends that will remain visible. You can buy extra Click Rail end caps for any exposed ends the included pair won’t cover.
