A simple alternative to D-rings for picture rails

This frame hanger is a neat alternative to classic
D-rings (D-ring hangers)
when you are hanging artwork from a picture rail.
Instead of threading a hook through a D-ring, you can hook directly into this hanger – I find it quick, secure, and much less fiddly.

Two versions – timber or aluminium

This page covers two matching products. Choose the version that suits your frame:

• 808.650 – Frame Hanger for Wood/Timber: screws onto the back of a timber frame or timber stretcher.
• 808.720 – Frame Hanger for Aluminium: clamps onto many aluminium frame profiles by tightening the screws (no drilling into the frame).

How to tell which one you need

• Timber frame: solid timber back or stretcher – use 808.650.
• Aluminium frame: metal frame with a rear channel/lip – use 808.720.

Installation overview
