YOUR ART IS WAITING

Most people have artwork they love that is still in a box, leaning against a wall, or hanging from a nail they have quietly regretted ever since. The reason is almost always the same: uncertainty about placement, reluctance to commit, and the nagging knowledge that drilling is permanent.

Hang Logic’s picture hanging systems change all of that. Install the rail once. Stop making new holes every time you move art. Your art can be moved, rotated, and changed whenever you choose.

And if you are building or renovating, there is a version of this system that disappears entirely into your walls before they go up.

REAL HOMES, REAL PEOPLE

Richard Oborn, a resident of Trinity Gardens in Adelaide, South Australia, shared his positive experience with Hang Logic after renovating his home. He and his wife sought a flexible picture hanging system to display art collected over 40 years of travel without damaging their pristine walls with multiple holes.

Why Hang Logic?
They researched options at Bunnings, Eckerleys, Art to Art, and Premier Art Supplies but found limitations, such as wide tape hangers or lack of systems. Online, they compared STAS systems from Picture Rail but chose Hang Logic’s cheaper Artiteq Click Rail with 1mm nylon twister cord (invisible look) and a 10-year guarantee.

Hang Logic installed the Click Rail, supporting up to 30kg per linear meter for their lightweight art, allowing adjustable heights and positionsAdapt fast. Keep walls pristine.

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps. No tradesperson required.

1. Choose your rail.
Wall-fixed, built-in, or ceiling-fixed: Jacqueline will point you to the right one for your space in a single conversation. If you already know what you need, the Shop has you covered.

2. Add wires and hooks.
Twister wires drop from the rail and adjust to any height. Hooks grip the wire at exactly the point you want. No fixed positions. No commitment.

3. Install once.
The rail goes up once. After that, the wall is never touched again. No drilling for each new piece. No filling holes when you change your mind.

4. Move your art whenever you like.
Slide the wire. Reposition the hook. Swap one piece for another. The whole arrangement can change in minutes, and the wall looks exactly as it did the day the rail went in.

No drama. No constant patching. No commitment to one arrangement forever. systems.

COMMON HOMEOWNER QUESTIONS

Which system suits an existing plaster wall?
The Click Rail is the right choice for most existing plaster walls. It mounts with screws at approximately 300 mm intervals, sits neatly against the wall, and can be painted to match any colour exactly. Most homeowners have it up in an afternoon.

What if my walls are brick or masonry?
The ceiling-fixed Top Rail is designed for exactly this situation. It fixes into ceiling joists so the wall is never touched at all. Wires drop cleanly from the rail above and the art hangs from those. The wall stays completely as it is.

Can I paint the rail to match the wall?
Yes. The Click Rail comes in white primer, ready for any acrylic paint. Painted carefully to match your wall colour, it becomes effectively invisible. Several Hang Logic clients have done this and found that visitors notice the art long before they notice the rail, if they notice it at all.

Which system works if I am renovating?
If your walls are coming down or a new ceiling is going in, the shadowline system is worth specifying before the plasterboard goes up. It installs into the ceiling edge during construction and disappears entirely once the lining is set. Once the renovation is complete, this option is no longer available, so the conversation with Jacqueline is worth having early.

How visible are the wires?
Perlon wires are nearly transparent and largely disappear against a wall. Stainless steel wires are slender and have a clean, considered look that suits contemporary interiors. Either way, the wire reads as part of the display rather than as infrastructure. Most people stop noticing them within a day of installation.

Can I hang heavy art?
The Click Rail holds up to 30 kg per linear metre and the Click Rail Pro holds up to 50 kg per linear metre. For most residential artwork, including large canvases and framed works, this is more than sufficient. If you have a particularly heavy piece, mention it to Jacqueline and she will confirm the right rail and wire combination for it.

Do I need help choosing wires and hooks?
Not necessarily, but Jacqueline is happy to help if you are unsure. The basic decision is straightforward: Perlon wire for lighter work and a cleaner look, stainless steel for heavier pieces or a more contemporary finish. Hooks are chosen by wire size and load. If you tell Jacqueline what you are hanging and from which rail, she will tell you exactly what you need.

FOR INTERIOR DESIGNERS

Your clients trust you to think further ahead than they do.

Specifying a picture hanging system is one of those decisions that costs almost nothing at the time and pays back every time your client rehangs, redecorates, or shows a visitor around their home. The rail disappears into the wall or ceiling. The art changes whenever they want it to. And the walls you specified stay exactly as you left them.

No patching between client visits. No drilling when the brief changes. No evidence that anything was ever moved.

Hang Logic works with interior designers directly. Jacqueline can advise on the right system for each project, provide specification documents, and supply product at trade pricing. One conversation is usually enough.
