What do I do with the hanging wire that hangs out below my picture?

Just coil up the excess hanging wire and then loop the end through the coil a few times to stop it unravelling. Then tuck it out of sight behind your artwork.

If it won’t stay put try turning the coil around the other way or use non-marking painters’ tape to make sure it remains in its tucked away spot at the back of the picture.
