The Combi Rail Pro Light is a beautiful way to hang and illuminate pictures. Thanks to the movable light fittings, it is possible to illuminate pictures and other wall decorations with optimal, high-quality lighting.

These rails allow you to hang paintings, prints, posters, photos, diplomas and wall sculptures anywhere on your wall. Why? Firstly, because you can slide the hanging wires you twist into the rail horizontally along your wall. Secondly, because you can slide the hooks on your hanging wires up and down it which in turn allows you to hang your pictures at any height.

Mounting the Artiteq rail system is simple if you possess some handyman skills. After screwing the ‘Click and Connect’ clips (3 per metre) to your wall (use a chalk line or a laser level to get them in a straight line) you can click the rail onto the clips with a mallet. To ensure a clean finish cut the hanging rail to size with a drop saw.

A transformer powers this system’slighting. A licensed electrician must specify the transformer (its wattage capacity must exceed the power load) and the connection to your electrical system.

Light arms come in 50cm and 70cm lengths – the 70cm light arm give you the widest spread of light. They are suitable for LED and halogen lamps. Made from high-quality plastic and resistant to high temperatures, you can adjust the luminaire cover to the desired angle to illuminate the picture without burning your fingers.

The system requires a live end (connection block). One live end is sufficient for up to 8 metres of continuous hanging rails. You can connect the individual 2m and 3m rails with the connector set both in a straight line and around corners with the corner connector.
Reputable, independent certification authorities (TÜV certification) have approved all the components of the Combi Rail Pro Light. This hanging rail with picture lighting has a separate conductor for the hanging wires, so that these can be moved independently of the conductive parts.

You can choose from a variety of hanging wires. We have Perlon (a type of nylon that looks like fishing line) and stainless-steel hangers in lengths from 1.5 metres up to 5 metres. The hanging wires come in two thicknesses: 1mm and 2mm. Perlon hangers give you an invisible look; stainless-steel hangers give you an industrial look and bear heavier weights. Which hooks you choose will depend on the weight of the object you wish to hang on your wall.

The hooks slide into the d-rings on the back of your picture. Best to use 2 hooks and hanging wires per picture for safety and stability.

The maximum weight you can hang on the Combi Rail Pro Light per metre is 50kg.
