The Click Rail is a sleek, unobtrusive picture hanging rail that you mount to your wall. We have them in 2 or 3-metre lengths. These picture rails are easy to attach to your walls:
1. You screw little plastic clips (called ‘Click and Connect’ clips) to your wall – 3 clips per metre.
2. You then ‘click’ your Click Rails onto these clips. Then they are ‘connected’/mounted to your walls.
Next, insert hanging wires (transparent or stainless steel) into the picture rail and attach your photos or artwork to the hooks you’ve slid onto the hanging wires.
And hey presto – it’s then a cinch to hang your pictures wherever they look best on your wall.

The Basics

The Artiteq Click Rail is a sleek picture hanging system that you mount to your wall. The hanging track’s ‘unobtrusiveness’ has the eye be drawn to your wall decorations. You can choose a rail that matches your wall colour or you can repaint the rail in the same colour as your wall, ceiling or cornice. If you position the track directly under your cornice and install it wall to wall it will look like it’s part of your cornice. Use ‘No More Gaps’ to perfect the finish.

One major advantage: your walls remain pristine – no ugly holes from nails or screws that require repatching when removed. The rails allow you to hang paintings, prints, posters, photos, diplomas and wall sculptures anywhere on your wall. Why? Firstly, because you can slide the hanging wires you twist into the rail horizontally along your wall. Secondly, because you can slide the hooks on your hanging wires up and down it which in turn allows you to hang your pictures at any height.
Mounting the Artiteq rail system is simple if you possess some handyman skills. After screwing the ‘Click and Connect’ clips (3 per metre) to your wall (use a chalk line or a laser level to get them in a straight line) you can click the rail onto the clips with a mallet. Then twist the hanging wires into your rail.

You can choose from a variety of hanging wires. We have Perlon (a type of nylon that looks like fishing line) and stainless-steel hangers in lengths from 1.5 metres up to 5 metres. The hanging wires come in two thicknesses: 1mm and 2mm. Perlon hangers give you an invisible look; stainless-steel hangers give you an industrial look and bear heavier weights. Which hooks you choose will depend on the weight of the object you wish to hang on your wall.

The hooks slide into the d-rings on the back of your picture. Best to use 2 hooks and hanging wires per picture for safety and stability.

The maximum weight you can hang on the Click Rail per metre is 30kg. In contrast the Click Rail Pro and the Combi Rail Pro Light allow you to hang 50kg per metre.
